So please, how can I increase the game speed close to the fast game speed at the beginning or earlier at least? I'd like to be at war 'only' against Britain, USA and Soviet Union so if these are the only enemies does it help? I also tried by making Japan surrender to USA (event 45) but even that did not help, nor to make separate peace with Japans allies with Britain and USA. I already tried making peace with some of the minor nations but with too little effect. It's now running about the second slowest speed (awful). Well I still made through to Caucasus in 41-42, but then when Japan went to war against USA and British Empire (which I did not want at all), the game became unbearable. It was still playable at this point as I conquered Europe in 39-40 until came Barbarossa in 41.
Then came 39 and I of course had to start my 'preventive defensive-offensive war' against Europe and the game slowed again drastically. As Japan I couped the Asian nations (Chinas etc.) and then Japan was in peace and the game ran fairly well. However, I changed the course so that Japan didnt wage war in Asia. Usually Japans wars in Asia slow the game already too much for me to bear. The game slowed down significantly when some nations started declaring wars, like Spain in 1937. Im playing IC Arma 1.02 as Germany (again). How can I speed up the game close to the fast game speed?
